AnyDAO is a permissionless DAO-as-a-Service platform that lowers the barrier to entry for launching, growing, and managing a DAO. Despite their decentralized properties, some DAOs stand to benefit from having a legal entity attached, and we are happy to announce a strategic partnership with MIDAO to help DAOs form LLCs in the only jurisdiction (Marshall Islands) that explicitly recognizes the unique structure of DAOs and ensures limited liability to their members.
Founded in early 2022, MIDAO’s vision and cooperation with the Marshall Islands government helps DAOs avoid unnecessary taxes and regulations associated with outdated jurisdictions, so each DAO only pays exactly what is necessary to stay protected in a simple and easy manner. With MIDAO’s as little as 15-days Marshall Islands incorporation strategy, you’ll get the peace of mind of limited liability without having to set up centralized structures or doxing all members.
Having already begun the process for over 20 DAOs, it has become clear that almost any governance model is possible with the MIDAO DAO LLC. A quick three-step process of signing an engagement letter, completing the registration process, and receiving your charter will forever change the landscape of the DAO ecosystem.
The strategic partnership between AnyDAO and MIDAO will further enhance the experience of launching a DAO for co-founders, contributors, and communities. With both projects focusing on lowering the barriers to entry across different points in the DAO lifecycle, our visions could not be more aligned. Initially, the partnership may potentially be easy access and a discount to the MIDAO product. MIDAO is also exploring a more streamlined online process that could be installed directly into the AnyDAO platform to enhance user experience and simplify this step in launching a DAO.
